Imagine being able to curate your own exhibition
with work by Henry Moore, Terry Frost, Barbara Hepworth and many more amazing
artists that have exhibited at The Study Gallery. Well now you can, The Study
Gallery is one of three national organisations taking part in this innovative
new way of accessing and engaging with culture.
My Art Space combines mobile phone technology and the world wide web with real
objects from galleries and museums.
Using special mobile phones visitors will be able to ‘collect’ artworks
from the gallery’s art store and exhibitions, download information about
them and then see their own collection online, where they can add their own
thoughts and share ideas with family and friends.
Absolutely everyone is encouraged to take part in this fantastic new scheme,
but there is a particular emphasis on students from KS2 and KS3 (10-14yrs).
